Silk Road transit is growing based on subsidies from China
Transportation volumes through Eurasian Economic Union will depend on the trading activity between EU and China, readiness of the PRC and other cross-countries governments investing in the railway modality, which is more expensive comparing with marine transport. Such conclusion placed in the report of the Eurasian Development Bank center of integration researching. It bears reminding that increasing of the goods supply through Middle Asia within the “New Silk Road” project supported by China already in 2013. However still 98% volume of reciprocal deliveries between EU and China serving by marine transport, 1,5-2% by aviation and 0,5-1% by rail way transport only.
