There is nowhere to storage more than half of raised Russian vegetables
Only quarter of the specialized storages fit to the modern standards. Small farms are selling their products straight off the field.
Reported by National fruit and vegetables association as little as 20-25% of storages for potatoes and other vegies from the 6.9 mln. tones of the total capacity of facilities in operations suit to the modern standards. By estimation of the APH Group (supplier of the agricultural equipment for the production and storage), there is no specialized storage facilities for 40-50% of vegies raised in Russia.
