Anilox Laser Technology, a manufacturer of metal rollers and sleeves for print machinery, has chosen Lowestoft-based Nexen Lift Trucks as its preferred supplier for its new electric counterbalanced lift truck. Anilox Laser Technology uses its fork lift trucks on a daily basis to handle pallets containing components that range in weight from 30 to 1,500kg and rollers and sleeves of various dimensions up to five meters in length.

BS Handling Systems Takes On Big Retail Project For Clipper Logistics
When Clipper Logistics plc was awarded a new e-fulfilment contract with a major international retailer, it turned to BS Handling Systems to fit out its new 300,000 sq ft distribution centre in Northampton. The storage and materials handling project awarded to BS Handling Systems has involved the company installing pallet racking, a hanging garment solution (GOH system) for 750,000 units, 5 packing spur belt conveyors and 125 packing benches into the new facility.

CBRE Global Investors has acquired on behalf of its investors, the ‘Hillwood Portfolio’ consisting of four standing logistics parks in Poland totaling 220,608 sq m. The vendor was Hillwood. CBRE Global Investors has also agreed to acquire from Hillwood a pipeline of projects currently under development. These consist of two new parks and two extensions in Poland totaling 134,165 sq m and two new developments in Germany totaling 71,684 sq m.

Cimcorp to Supply Turnkey Automated Handling System to Turkish Tyre Maker
Cimcorp has won a significant order to supply a fully automated handling system to Petlas Tire Corporation at its factory in Kirsehir, Turkey, about 100 miles southeast of Ankara. Based on Cimcorp's Dream Factory solution, the automation will take care of the handling of PCR (passenger car radial) finished tires in the tire-finishing and palletizing areas. Work on the order – Cimcorp’s first project for Petlas – is already underway and the turnkey material handling system will become operational in the autumn of 2017.

Hyundai Safety Features Key to Mineral Company’s Buying Decision
UK  mineral processing company Furlong Mills Ltd has bought two new 2.5 tonne 25D-9 diesel Hyundai forklift trucks and two electric pallet trucks which are now fully operational onsite at the historic Furlong Mill. The machines were supplied by local Hyundai dealer, Hystackers.
