CBRE Global Investors has acquired DC Leeghwaterweg 2-8 in Bergen op Zoom, The Netherlands, on behalf of the CBRE European Industrial Fund. The logistics warehouse comprises 43,000 square metres and was constructed in 2009.It has been let to Bleckmann and Forever 21.

British Ports Association Outlines Post-Brexit Fears to UK Government
British Ports Association Chairman Rodney Lunn and Director Richard Ballantyne met with UK transport minister John Hayes MP today in Westminster to outline fears that the Brexit vote could disrupt cargo and logistics flows. There are concerns this might make UK ports less competitive and add costs to the freight industry.The BPA has also urged the government to set up special ‘port zones’ that would enable fast-tracked planning and licensing systems.

Prologis Expands Poland Facility At Wroclaw V
Prologis has begun construction of a speculative facility totalling 11,400 square metres at Prologis Park Wrocław V.
Scheduled for completion in the second quarter of 2017, the building is already 100-percent pre-leased, just one month after the start of construction.

Six-Year Contract For Agility With Swedish Tyre Wholesaler
Agility has won a six-year warehousing and logistics contract with Sweden-based Amring, a wholesaler that sells and distributes tyres, rims, complete wheels and related articles for passenger vehicles, trucks and commercial vehicles. Following the award, Agility announced plans to expand its Gothenburg logistics centre from 8,350 sqm to 23,000 sqm. New Bulk Storage Facility For Belfast Harbour
Belfast harbour now has a new bulk storage facility that provides a safe haven for goods being transported to and from the port. The Belfast harbour is Northern Ireland’s principal maritime gateway and logistics hub. Around 70 per cent of Northern Ireland’s (and 20 per cent of the entire of Ireland’s) trade is handled at the harbour each year.
