Buss Port Logistics Signs Second Turkish Contract
Buss Port Logistics – with its German/Turkish joint venture BussErk – has signed another contract in southeastern Turkey. Up to 2.5 million metric tons cargo is scheduled to be handled at the Gübretas Terminal, owned by Turkey’s largest fertilizer company. The first vessel was discharged at the end of February. In addition, BussErk has extended its contract at the nearby LimakPort in Iskenderun.

Российское подразделение мирового лидера в области промышленной упаковки, объявило о запуске производства в России нового ассортимента инновационных продуктов в 2016 году.
Производство упаковки будет развернуто на базе партнеров компании в Ленинградской, Владимирской и Нижегородской областях.  В течение двух лет, планируется ввести более 18 новых моделей упаковки для пищевой, легкой, автомобильной промышленности, сельского хозяйства и сетевой логистики. Сумма инвестиций превысит 480 млн. рублей. Компания продолжает поиск новых партнеров в регионах России для организации производств в непосредственной близости к потребителям упаковки.

New Warehouse For UK Home Improvement Chain Screwfix
UK logistics giant Wincanton has extended its relationship with home improvement chain Screwfix, part of Kingfisher plc, to design and manage a newly-built 562,000ft warehouse in support of the retailer’s expected growth through 2017 and beyond. Construction work on the site at Prologis Park, Fradley near Lichfield, which is the size of seven football pitches, commenced in December 2016. The new warehouse is expected to create 200 new jobs initially, with plans to increase to 700 over the next five years.
